SIDEWALK2

A new online permit application is available for any projects that obstruct the public right-of-way. Any person that wishes to install or maintain assets in the public right-of-way, or occupy the right-of-way in the form of a street, lane, or sidewalk closure may acquire a permit by submitting this form. Customers who do not wish to use the online form may still download the permit application from the City of Raleigh website.

Benefits to this new online process include:

  • Precise job location mapping
  • Drop down menu to more easily identify scope of work
  • Identifying the parking impact to the downtown area
  • Mobile capabilities
